Osgur Breatnach in conversation with Sue Leonard at the Kinsale Literary Festival Word by Water.

Sue Leonard: is a journalist, and has written for The Irish Times, the Irish Independent, the Irish Examiner, The Evening Herald, Image Magazine, and numerous other publications. A former columnist with the Evening Herald, she currently writes the ‘Beginner’s Pluck’ book column for the Irish Examiner and the Debut Roundup Column for Books Ireland.
Osgur Breatnach was an award-winning writer in his teens and, over the past 60 plus years, has worked as a human rights activist, business consultant, publicist, media contributor, journalist and film maker.
Osgur is at the center of exposing the notorious Sallins Case Corruption Case, and the state cover-up of his kidnapping, torture and frame-up. For the past 43 years he has worked to expose the truth of what really happened, demanding an impartial public inquiry, according to international law. He has received support from across the Irish social, political and cultural spectrum, and from both national and international human rights organisations.
A published author who writes both in English and Irish, he continues to publish pamphlets, novels, poetry and non-fiction. He is also involved in preparing podcasts, documentaries and film treatments on commission.
